Discovery Flights

Your first hour at the controls

A Discovery Flight is the perfect first step into aviation.

You’ll sit in the pilot’s seat with a certified instructor, handle the controls, and see what real flight training feels like. Plan on about 30 minutes of ground briefing and up to 1.0 hour in the air. When you’re done, we’ll log the lesson in your pilot logbook so it counts toward future training.

What to expect

  • Warm welcome: Meet your instructor, talk through the plan, and cover a quick safety briefing.
  • Preflight walkaround: See how pilots inspect the aircraft and check the flight controls and systems.
  • You fly: Taxi, take off with your instructor, try basic maneuvers, and enjoy the view.
  • Memories: Snap a few photos on the ground. In the air, focus on flying and fun.
